Firestone Walker Brewing Co.’s seasonal coffee-laced variation of its Velvet Merlin stout has returned.

Mocha Merlin 2018 is a 5.5 percent ABV milk stout brewed with coffee, cocoa nibs and lactose brewed with the Colombia La Granadilla blend from HoneyCo. Coffee Roasters, which is added straight into the fermentation tank, similar to the process used for dry-hopping.

According to a post on the Paso Robles, Calif.-based brewery’s Facebook page, Mocha Merlin 2018 is packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce cans and is shipping to retailers across Firestone Walker’s distribution network now.
