The stout is part of the Paso Robles, Calif.-based brewery’s Proprietor’s Vintage Series and was first released in 2009.

This may not be the only version of Parabola to released this year, as the Paso Robles, Calif.-based brewery recently filed a label for 12-ounce bottles of Maple Parabola, a 10 precent ABV imperial stout aged in maple syrup bourbon barrels. Firestone Walker has confirmed that Maple Parabola is being released on draft at the Parabola 2019 release event.
According to a post on Firestone Walker’s Facebook page, Parabola 2019 will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles with 6,000 cases produced and will be released on March 23 during an event at the brewery’s Paso Robles, Buellton and Venice locations.
In addition, bottles of Parabola 2018 will ship to retailers across the brewery’s distribution network “in the coming weeks.”
