According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Firestone Walker Brewing Co. is working on releasing Napa Parabola, an 11.3 precent ABV imperial stout aged in wine barrels that will join Firestone Walker’s lineup.

As the name suggests, the stout uses the Paso Robles, Calif.-based brewery’s Parabola as its base, a Russian imperial stout brewed with hallertau and Zeus hops along with nine different malts.

The new beer will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles with 300 cases available and join a number of different Parabola variants that have been released over the years, including Scotch Parabola, Coconut Rye Parabola and Parabajava.

An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
