The name of a new collaboration between Firestone Walker Brewing Co. and Cigar City Brewing being released next month translates to woodcutters from Spanish.

Los Leñadores is an 11.6 percent ABV imperial brown ale aged in barrels that previously held high rye bourbon and “infused” with wood spirals from both Africa and Brazil.

The new beer is being produced for the 2019 Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest, an annual “intimate gathering of 50+ leading brewers from around the nation and world celebrating craft beer” that is taking place June 1 in Firestone Walker’s home town of Paso Robles, Calif.

According to labels filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) and a post on Firestone Walker’s Facebook page, Los Leñadores will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles with 300 cases available when it goes on sale at the brewery on June 1.
