Firestone Walker Brewing Co. is experimenting with one of its most popular beers, but it will be next before anyone gets to try it.

The Paso Robles, Calif.-based brewery has added two different types of vanilla beans to its popular Parabola imperial stout: Indonesian and Madagascar.

According to a Firestone Walker Instagram Story post, the Parabola will condition on the vanilla beans in the barrels for 9-12 months.

In an email, Jemma Wilson, media manger for Firestone Walker, told Tenemu that there are only two rye whiskey barrels being produced so far, while a post on the brewery’s Facebook page indicates that the resulting beer is not scheduled to be bottled “yet.”
