According to labels filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Firestone Walker Brewing Co. is working on releasing Blackberry Mint Cobbler, a 6 percent ABV American wild ale brewed with blackberries, Ceylon cinnamon and mint before being packaged in 375ml bottles.

The new ale will have been aged between 36-60 months in oak barrels, was bottled on Sept. 8 and will have 150 cases available when it is released.

Started in 2006 as a way for brewers to experiment, the Barrelworks program at Firestone Walker has released more than 15 different beers to date and constitutes more than 1,500 barrels in a 7,000-square-foot building in Buellton, Calif.

An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
