FiftyFifty Brewing Co. has revamped its Brewers’ Intent bottle club program, and there are a few surprises.
The biggest change for 2018 will be the fact that instead of the $175 fee that members had to pay last year, membership will now be free. This means that memberships will reset each calendar year and members will be able to renew or cancel at any time.
According to the brewery, members will be charged automatically for four releases, each of which will include up to four bottles. In addition, the membership will include a Brewers’ Intent exclusive variant of Eclipse in December and access to vintage products, including Eclipse, BART and other barrel-aged beers at discounted pricing.
Another change compared to last year is the addition of automatic shipments, in which members will pay flat-rate shipping and will have an opportunity to customize their shipment a few weeks before the bottles are shipped.
Finally, there will be Brewers’ Intent member exclusive event in June, where members will also receive an on-premise discount at the FityFifty pub.
In an email to current members, the brewery indicates that memberships for the 2018 program will go on sale on its website as well as at the FiftyFifty pub in Truckee, Calif. on Nov. 1.
The new membership format will launch in January of 2018.
