According to labels filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Fifty Fifty Brewing is collaborating with Peter and Rob of Urban Roots Brewing who are “long time friends of ours” to release three different beers to celebrate its grand opening.

The three beers being brewed are called Old Digs and use New Digs wheatwine ale as its base, but are aged in three different types barrels.

The first is 10.4 percent ABV aged in bourbon barrels, while second is 10 percent AVB aged in cognac barrels. Finally the third is 8.7 percent ABV and is aged in malbec wine barrels.

According to an email sent from the brewery, the malbec and cognac style will be released in 22-ounce bottles ($21.50) and are available at their pub. The bourbon style will be available in 4-packs of 16-ounce cans ($24).

All three styles will get distribution through the Fifty/Fifty and Urban Roots territory encompassing northern California and Nevada.
