A new entry in Evil Twin Brewing’s Cake Break Series may be coming down the pipe.
Imperial Wedding Cake Break is an 11.5 percent ABV malt beverage brewed with “natural flavors.” The new beer is being brewed and canned at the South Carolina-based Westbrook Brewing Co., and the two breweries have collaborated on a number of different Cake Break variants, including:
- Imperial Mexican Biscotti Cake Break — a 10.5 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with almonds, cocoa nibs, coffee, cinnamon, habanero peppers and vanilla beans
- Maple Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Mexican Biscotti Churros Cake Break — a 10.5 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with almonds, cocoa nibs, coffee, cinnamon, habanero peppers and vanilla beans before being aged in maple bourbon barrels
- Double Barrel Aged Imperial Mexican Biscotti Cake Break — a 10.5 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with almonds, cocoa nibs, coffee, cinnamon, habanero peppers and vanilla beans before being aged in both maple bourbon barrels and Marsala wine barrels for 16 months
According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Imperial Wedding Cake will be packaged in 16-ounce bottles.
An email sent to the brewery for more information was not immediately returned.
