After filing labels for three different brand new variants last month, Epic Brewing Co.’s most popular series may be getting yet another addition.
According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), that beer is Big Bad Baptist Peanut Butter Cup, an imperial stout aged in whiskey barrels with coffee, roasted cacao nibs and peanuts before being packaged in 22-ounce bottles.
The stout will be the latest in a long of beers that use the Big Bad Baptist moniker, a series that also includes Quadruple Barrel Big Bad Baptist, Triple Barrel Big Bad Baptist and Big Bad Baptist Reserve.
Last month, Epic filed a bottle label and two keg labels for three additional brand new variants: Hazelnut Vanilla Latte Big Bad Baptist, an imperial stout aged in whiskey barrels with coffee, roasted cacao nibs, roasted hazelnuts and vanilla that will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles; Big Bad Baptist Vanilla Brandy, an imperial stout aged in brandy barrels with cacao, coffee and vanilla that will be packaged in kegs; and Big Bad Baptist Chocolate Rapture, an imperial stout aged in whiskey barrels with cacao nibs, coffee and vanilla that will be packaged in kegs.
An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
