A new release from Epic Brewing Co. combines three of its most popular creations into one.

Big Bad Baptist Reserve is an 11.7 percent ABV imperial stout that is a blend of the brewery’s Big Bad Baptist, Big Bad Baptista and Triple Barrel Baptist barrel-aged imperial stouts. However, the debut beer does not include any of the spices that Big Bad Baptista was conditioned on its original release, namely cinnamon.

“Over the years we have explored different ways to experiment with the flavors and qualities of the beer, through the use of different coffees, adjuncts and barrels like with this year’s coconut-driven Triple Barrel Big Bad Baptist,” said Dave Cole, co-founder of Epic, in a post on the brewery’s website. “For the Big Bad Baptist Reserve, we wanted to explore something more subtle, more refined. By using barrels from all the projects and giving the beer a little extra time to mature, we found the perfect blend that’s balanced, silky and mind-blowingly good.”

According to Epic, Big Bad Baptist Reserve is packaged in 22-ounce bottles with just 600 cases available that will be shipping to “limited markets throughout the United States” in mid-April.
