Next month, El Sequndo Brewing Co. is going to be busting heads with its newest release.
The new beer is a collaboration between former WWE wrestler “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and the El Segundo, Calif.-based brewery named Broken Skull IPA, a 6.3 percent ABV IPA brewed with cascade, chinook, and citra hops. Austin’s home is located on a ranch in Tilden, Texas named Broken Skull Ranch.
“After meeting with ESBC founder, Rob Croxall, it was clear they had a lot in common,” reads the press release. “Austin, who knows good beer when he tastes it, was already a fan of ESBC’S Citra Pale and Mayberry IPA. Over a table of beer, conversation shifted to a collaborative effort utilizing ESBC’s expertise in brewing and Steve’s vision of the ultimate India Pale Ale.”
According to the press release, Broken Skull IPA will be packaged in 16-ounce bottles when it is released at an event taking place at El Sequndo on Nov. 13.
