Ecliptic Brewing is adding a brand new sessional stout to its seasonal lineup to “shake off winter’s chill.”
Meridian Vanilla Stout is a 5.2 percent ABV “Dry Irish-style stout” brewed with Pale, Munich and Carafa Special Type 3 malts as well as roasted barley. Real vanilla beans were then added to the bright tank “to provide a touch of sweetness and aroma.”
“You don’t see a ton of stouts in cans – at least, we’ve never done one- so we used this as an opportunity to provide the market with something unique,” said John Harris, owner and brewmaster at Ecliptic, in a press release. “This is a dry Irish Style Stout, brewed with real vanilla, and it’s going to be delicious.”
According to a press release, Meridian Vanilla Stout will be packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce cans that are scheduled to be shipped throughout Ecliptic’s entire distribution network from January through February 2020.
