DuClaw Brewing Co.will soon be releasing Kölsch, a 4.5 percent ABV German-style Kölsch that is brewed with German yeast. According to a post on the brewery’s Facebook page, the new beer is the inaugural release in the the Baltimore, Md.-based brewery’s brand new Foundation Series.

“This medium-light bodied brew boasts a precisely balanced mix of subtle malt, faint hop bitterness, & subdued fruit notes from the German yeast that leads to a clean, refreshing finish,” reads the beer label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB.)

According to the brewery, Kölsch will be available on-draft on June 28, with 12-ounce bottles shipping to retailers “next week.” A call to the brewery for additional information was not returned.
