Doug Dayhoff has left Upland Brewing Co. after more than a decade as president.

“10+ years ago, we had a vision to grow a fledgling Upland into a strong regional brewery that would thrive for decades into the future,” said Dayhoff in a statement on Upland’s website. “I’m leaving the business in the very capable hands of the BEST management team in independent beer who will carry this momentum into the next decade of growth and development.”

When Dayhoff joined the Bloomington, Ind.-based brewery in 2006 it had 20 employees; today it has more than 200 and sells close to 250,000 cases of beer annually.

He previously served as the ceo of iProperty, chairman at Kline Cabinet makers, LLC and an associate professor at Indiana University-Kelly School of Business.

According to a post on Upland’s website, the brewery’s board will be actively searching for a replacement over the next few months.
