Dogfish Head Craft Brewery’s 120 Minute Imperial IPA is heading back to stores.

As with previous releases, 120 Minute IPA is an imperial IPA coming in at between 15-20 percent ABV and 120 IBU that is continuously hopped with more than 120 hop additions over a 120 minute boil.

“Dogfish Head found that by dosing small bits of hops continually, in equal increments, over the whole boil, they can make a beer that is intensely super-hoppy without being brutally bitter,” reads a press release from the brewery.

The imperial IPA was first introduced in 2003 and is now a seasonal release for the Milton, Del.-based brewery that is shipped twice a year. The first release this year was shipped in April.

According to a press release, 120 Minute Imperial IPA is packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles that are scheduled to shipped to retailers in the brewery’s distribution network on Nov. 10.
