According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is working on releasing another beer in its Wooden…It Be Nice Series.

Swearword Sweetspot is an American wild ale aged in both red and white wine barrels for 12 months with a blend of Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus.  The ale was also conditioned on both apricots and ginger root before being packaged in 12-ounce bottles.

This will be the third release in Dogfish Head’s Wooden…It be Nice Series, with the first two beers being First and Farmhouse, a 9.3 percent ABV wild ale aged for 18 months in Chardonnay wine barrels; and Eastern Seaboard, a 7.2 percent ABV wild ale aged for approximately 18 months in both red and white wine barrels before being conditioned on “several hundred pounds” of both locally-sourced beach plums blackberries.

An email sent to the brewery about pricing and distribution was not immediately returned.
