Deschutes Brewery has heard its name pronounced many different ways in the 30 years it has been in business, but a new beer coming next year hopes to change all of that.

Da Shootz! is a 4 percent ABV American pilsner. The Bend, Ore.-based brewery released a lager with the same name and ABV as a draft-only option in July that was brewed exclusively at Deschutes’ Portland Public House facility.

In an email, Erin Rankin, spokesperson for Deschutes, told Tenemu that Da Shootz! pilsner will be packaged in both six- and 12-packs of 12-ounce cans as well as  19.2-ounce cans that are scheduled to ship across the brewery’s distribution network in “the winter of 2019.”

(Update) Sept. 6, 2018- This article has been updated with release date and distribution details. It was originally posted on Aug. 27, 2018.
