Bend, Ore.-based Deschutes Brewing Co. announced earlier this week that its new summer seasonal release will be Hop Slice session IPA.

Hop Slice session IPA has an ABV of 4.5 percent and 45 IBU. It is brewed with Amarillo, Azacca, Cascade, Centennial, and Galaxy hops; and is backed with Carapils, crystal malt, honey malt, Munich malt, and pale malt. The addition of Meyer lemon adds a “refreshing citrus characteristic.”

Hop Slice will be released today. It will be available throughout Deschutes’ normal distribution footprint in 12-ounce bottle six-packs and on draft.
