According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Deschutes Brewery is working on releasing The Dissident 2018, an 8.7 percent ABV oud bruin-style ale brewed with brettanomyces and local cherries before being aged in oak barrels. The ale was first sold in 2008, with the last release coming in August of last year and the new version was bottled on April 30.

While Deschutes did not announce a 2018 release calendar, The Dissident has historically been packaged in 22-ounce bottles and has shipped to retailers across the Bend, Ore.-based brewery’s distribution network in either August or November.

An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
