Fans of Deschutes Brewery won’t be sad to hear that a former draft-only option is being packaged.
According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), that beer is Blue Butterfly, a 5.2 percent ABV saison brewed with black pepper and cloves before being dry-hopped with hull melon hops.
Created by “guest brewer Shannon”, the saison was originally brewed exclusively for release on draft at Deschutes’ Bend, Ore.-based Public House facility.
The newest version of Blue Butterly will be packaged in 500ml bottles.
An email sent to the brewery for more information was not immediately returned.
