After a week off, de Garde Brewing has released another new beer incorporated two different types of fruit.
According to a post on the Tillamook, Ore.-based brewery’s Facebook page, Passion Pom Bu is a 4.4 percent ABV “berliner weisse-style ale” aged in oak foeders with passion fruit and pomegranates.
The new beer joins three other formally released bottles for sale at the brewery: Beaucoup Berry Bu, a 4.5 percent ABV “berliner inspired ale” that has been fermented and aged in red wine barrels, then refermented with blackberries, boysenberries, red raspberries and black raspberries; Dry Hop Premiere, a 6 percent ABV “tart wild farmhouse ale” that has been both fermented and aged in oak foeders before being dry hopped citra and mandarin hops and Saison Premiere, a 6 percent ABV wild farmhouse ale aged in oak wine barrels.
Dry Hop Premiere ($10), Passion Pom Bu ($9), Saison Premiere ($7) and Beaucoup Berry Bu ($10) are all packaged in 22-ounce bottles. Beaucoup Berry Bu and Dry Hop Premiere have a limit of six bottles per person while Passion Pom Bu and Saison Premiere are limited to three bottles per person.
