de Garde Brewing is adding a brand new wild ale to its portfolio, and bringing back two fan favorites.
The new beer is named Framiscus, a 6.4 percent ABV wild ale aged in wine barrels with both raspberries and hibiscus. In addition, the Tillamook, Ore.-based brewery is rereleasing Apricot Bu, a 4.3 percent “Berliner Weisse Style Ale” aged in oak barrels with apricots and Black Raz Bu, a 4.4 percent ABV “Berliner Weisse Style Ale” aged in oak barrels with black raspberries.
de Garde still has bottles of Citrus Desay (6.2 percent ABV), a blend of two years of sour farmhouse ales aged in oak barrels with citrus zest and peel added and Equinox Hose (4 percent ABV), a “Gose-inspired ale” aged in oak barrels and dry hopped with equinox hops to the bottle list.
According to a post on de Garde’s Facebook page, Framiscus ($10), Apricot Bu ($9) and Black Raz Bu ($9) are all packaged in 22-ounce bottles and will have a limit of three bottles per person when they go on sale today.
