Next month, D.C. Brau Brewing Co. will be debuting cans of Space Reaper, a 9.2 percent ABV double IPA brewed with a “generous reaping” of Mosiac hops. The IPA was formally named Solar Abyss (10 percent ABV) by the Washington, D.C.-based brewery, but was renamed to Space Reaper in this year.
According to a post on DC Brau’s Facebook page, Space Reaper will debut in six-packs of 12-ounce cans at an event being held at 1905 Restaurant in Washington, D.C. on June 18. In an email, DC Brau spokesperson Melissa Gold told Tenemu that a limited number of cans will also be available “in DC and select markets outside the District” through the summer.
