This month, Dark Horse Brewing Co. will be releasing three of its most popular beers in cans for the first time.
The Marshall, Mich.-based brewery has historically its sold beer on draft and in bottles, but according to the brewery’s Facebook page, this August the brewery will debut three of its beers in cans:
- Crooked Tree IPA – an award-winning IPA is dry hopped is an annual release and sits at 6.5 percent ABV
- Raspberry Ale – a 5 percent ABV fruit ale is made with real raspberries that are added late in fermentation
- Smells Like a Safety Meeting IPA – double-dry hopped IPA comes in at 8.5 percent ABV
According to an email sent from the brewery, all three beers in cans will be made available throughout Dark Horse’s distribution network starting this month and it plans to gradually expand its canning lineup with other flagship beers as well as certain seasonal beers.
