This Saturday, Cycle Brewing will release bottles of Double Barrel Vanilla Rare DOS.

An expansion on its bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout Rare DOS, this version of is first aged in a bourbon barrel, then aged once again in a vanilla bourbon barrel with vanilla beans added.

Cycle described the process on Instagram:

We used up all of our vanilla beans on this, plus the second barrel was vanilla, and we feel this is one of the finest, easily most expensive, beers we have made,

Bottles are available beginning at 8 a.m. this Saturday at its St. Petersburg, Fla. brewery. They will be $35 for a 22-ounce bottle. While a limit that has not yet been set, Cycle says it has plenty of bottles so there’s no need to line up and it expects customers to be able to purchase multiple bottles.

Cycle also says there will be more double barrel variants in the future, but details on those releases won’t be given for at least a few weeks.
