Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project has announced the release of its first packaged pilsner.

The beer is named Von Pilsner, a 5 percent ABV keller pilsner-style ale brewed with traditional European noble hop varieties. In a email, Chad Yakobson, owner and brewmaster at Crooked Stave, told Tenemu that the new pilsner will be available year-round packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce cans.

According Yakobson, Von Pilsner will be released at the brewery in Denver, Colo.on Aug. 3, with cans hitting distribution throughout Colorado starting on Aug. 7.
