A new beer from Creature Comforts Brewing Co. gets its name from a particular type of organism.

According to labels filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB),that beer is Eukaryote, a 4.4 percent ABV “spritzy”, dry-hopped table saison that will be packaged in 750ml bottles. The moniker of the beer refers to a type of organism made up of cells with nucleuses that are inclosed inside of membranes, which includes all living organisms other than bacteria.

The Athens, Ga.-based brewery has a similar beer named Table Beer—formally named Epicurious—in its seasonal lineup, a 4.2 percent ABV ale brewed with Belgian yeast and dry-hopped with Cascade hops.

An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
