Two east coast breweries have teamed up to try and end 2020 on a better note by releasing a brand new philanthropic beer.

Athens, Ga.-based Creature Comforts Brewing Co. and Maine-based Allagash Brewing Co. have joined forces on A Force for Good, a 5.7 percent ABV mixed-culture blonde ale that is “made up of a combination of grains from Maine and the Southeast…fermented with a blend of our house culture and spontaneous culture from Allagash.”

The new creation is an addition to Creature Comforts’ Wood Cellar and Mixed Fermentation Series and according to the brewery, 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to Creature Comforts’ charity known as the Get Comfortable Fund.

According to a post on Creature Comforts Instagram page, A Force For Good will be available packaged in 500ml bottles at the brewery’s taproom starting on Dec. 19, with “limited distribution” of bottles at a later date.
