After announcing a brand refresh and the addition of a new canning line late last year, Coronado Brewing Co. has posted the first photograph of a can of Islander IPA, a 7 percent ABV IPA brewed with centennial, chinook and Columbus hops.

While and exact release date is not known, the photo caption reads “Spring can’t come soon enough…” and a press release from last year indicates that 12-ounce cans will be hitting shelves sometime in March. In addition, the press release indicates there will be another beer from the Coronado, Calif.-based brewery in the first run of cans, namely Orange Ave. Wit, a 5.2 percent ABV wittier.

An email sent to the brewery requesting information concerning a release date and distribution was not immediately returned.
