After canning its first two beers earlier this year, Coronado Brewing Co. is continuing the trend with its Stingray IPA.
The beer will remain a 7.9 percent ABV imperial IPA brewed with Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe and southern cross hops and is named after “a serene Coronado shoreline where locals soak up sun and suds.” The year-round imperial IPA was first released in 2015 and is also available in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles.

This makes the third beer that Coronado has packaged in cans, after Islander IPA (7 percent ABV), Easy Up Pale Ale (5.2 percent ABV) and Orange Ave. Wit (5.2 percent ABV) were released earlier this year.
According to the brewery, Stingray IPA is packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce cans and is shipping now across the brewery’s entire distribution network.
