The Collective Brewing Project is releasing a new Petite Golden Sour variant next week, and this one has an Asian twist.

The new incarnation is Pineapple Thai Basil Petite Golden Sour, a 4.5 percent ABV sour golden ale brewed with brettanomyces bruxellensis var. dire, lactobacillus delbrueuckii and brettanomyces lambicus before being aged in wine barrels and conditioned on both pineapples and Thai basil. There have been more than 10 different Petite Golden Sour variants since the beer debuted in 2015, including Raspberry Petite Golden Sour (4.7 percent ABV), Whiskey Mango Petite Golden Sour (4.5 percent ABV) and Blackberry Petite Golden Sour (4.5 percent ABV), among others.

According to a post on The Collective Brewing Project’s website, Pineapple Thai Basil Petite Golden Sour will be packaged in 500ml bottles ($13) with only approximately 2,700 bottles available and no purchase limits. Members of The Collective Brewing Project’s Bottle and Crowler Clubs will be able to purchase bottles on May 24 through May 26, with bottles available to the general public on May 27.
