The Collective Brewing Project has brewed a beer using a very unusual ingredient.
Wabi-sabi is a Japanese-style gose that incorporates ginger, lime zest, lemongrass and seaweed-cured Japanese sea salt. According to owner Ryan Deyo, the beer should come in around 4.4 percent ABV; itwas also brewed with 288 packets of ramen noodles, which were added in the mash tun.
The name Wabi-sabi represents the Japanese world view which is characterized by the acceptance of imperfection.
While there is no specific release date planned, Deyo told Tenemu that Wabi-Sabi will be a draft-only release.
