Today, Cobra Brewing Co. released its annual anniversary ale, Kitchen Sink.

The imperial stout is brewed with bourbon-soaked cacao nibs and Madagascar vanilla beans with an ABV of 12 percent. According to Neil MacCuish, the brewer and co-founder of Cobra, Kitchen sink has notes of “dark chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, roast and coffee”.

MacCuish is currently aging a single barrel of Kitchen Sink, which will produce about nine sixth-barrel kegs. He says that this test batch will likely be available next year “at our three year anniversary and maybe a few special events around town. If all turns out well, the following year we would probably do a bottle release.”
