According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Clown Shoes Beer will be releasing For A Few Unidragons More, a 14 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with coffee from Houston-based Blacksmith Coffee before being aged in bourbon barrels.
The stout uses the Ipswich, Mass.-based brewery’s A Fistful of Unidragon imperial stout (14 percent ABV) as its base, a Texas-exclusive beer that was brewed with mesquite smoked malt from Texas-based Blackland Malt Company and was first released in 2015.
In addition, Clown Shoes has incorporated Blacksmith Coffee into its beers before, namely the Texas-exclusive Hephaestus (14 percent ABV), a bourbon barrel-aged Russian imperial stout brewed with espresso that was released earlier this year and a variant of its The Good, The Bad & The Unidragon (14 percent ABV.)
According to the label filed the TTB, For A Few Unidragons More will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles. An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
