Fans of Clown Shoes Hoppy Feet releases can rejoice with a new beer in in the series.

Appropriately named Hoppy Feet 2.0, the new black IPA comes in at 10 percent ABV and uses “more” hops than the previous two releases, Hoppy Feet (7 percent ABV) and Hoppy Feet 1.5 (10 percent ABV.)

“Hoppy Feet 2.0 brings a new twist, using twice the hops and all of the knowledge gained during 5 years of brewing Black IPAs that we love,” says the beer’s label. “The result: a brew with malty roast, richness and an extremely dank hop profile.”

The original Hoppy Feet was the first beer that the Ipswich, Mass.-based brewery bottled at its inception in December 2009 and Hoppy Feet 1.5 was introduced to commemorate its first year in business in December 2010.
According to the brewery, Hoppy Feet 2.0 will be released in 22-ounce bottles starting at “the end of February/beginning of March” and will be available to its entire distribution footprint.
