We are barely into August and preparations for the fall season have already begun at Clown Shoes Beer Co.

According to the company’s Facebook page, Clown Shoes will be releasing another installment of its pre-autumnal Pean Pie Porter, aged for the second year in a row in bourbon barrels, resulting in a 10.5 percent ABV.

The Boston-based company has been brewing versions of this beer since 2015. Previous versions include:

  • 2015 – Coffee Pecan Pie Porter  – 8 percent ABV
  • 2016 – Pecan Pie Porter with Honey – 8.5 percent ABV
  • 2017 – Pecan Pie Porter in bourbon barrels – 10.5 percent ABV

This year Pecan Pie Porter will begin shipping out gradually throughout August to all markets where Clown Shoes beers are sold.

An email sent to Clown Shoes seeking additional details was not immediately returned.
