The Democrats and Republicans are not the only ones with a Presumptive Nominee.

That is also the name of one of Clown Shoes’ newest releases, a 7 percent ABV IPA dry-hopped with El Dorado, Mosaic and Motueka hops. The new beer is a continuation of the Ipswich, Mass.-based company’s storyline that started with Third Party Candidate (7 percent ABV), which purported to put Clown Shoes’ west coast ambassador, Phil Thomas in as a candidate for President.

According to a post on Clown Shoes’ Facebook page, Presumptive Nominee will “roll out as a limited release” in September packaged in 22-ounce bottles and will be sent to “most markets.”
