Clown Shoes Beer’s newest state exclusive release’s path leads straight to Michigan.
The company will be releasing The Path Of The Angel, an 11.4 percent ABV imperial brown ale aged in bourbon barrels. The new beer uses the brewery’s Angel Of Mackinac (8 percent ABV) as its base, a brown ale dry-hopped with both Columbus and galaxy hops that was released in Nov. 2016.
“We made this one for you because Michigan has been really good to us and because our wholesaler, Steve Smith, asked us to,” a pos on Facebook. “We’re very glad he did.”
According to a post on the Ipswich, Mass.-based company’s Facebook page, The Path Of The Angel will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles and is scheduled to ship exclusively to Michigan retailers in April.
