This December marks Clown Shoes Beer’s eighth anniversary in business, and a brand new beer is being released for the occasion.

That beer is The Train I Ride, an 11 percent ABV triple IPA that has been dry-hopped with Columbus, Galaxy and Mosaic hops. The Boston-based company has released specific beers for various anniversary’s before, including The Peace That Money Can’t Buy for its fifth anniversary in 2014 and Whammy Bar to celebrate its sixth year in business in 2015.

In an email, Bryan Doran, director of sales and development at Clown Shoes, told Tenemu that The Train I Ride will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles that is scheduled to ship to retailers across the brewery’s distribution network in early December.

Update (Oct. 31, 2017) — This post was updated to include details on the release date and distribution information. It was originally published on Oct. 28, 2017.
