Harpoon-owned Clown Shoes Beer announced that one of its imperial stouts from last year will be returning as soon as next week. Snow on the Maple Tree 2018 is set to hit distribution in the next week. It is a 12.5 percent ABV beer that features a stout base that was aged in bourbon barrels that had previously held maple syrup.

First brewed last year, Snow on the Maple Tree saw some distribution in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island and was bottled in the 22-ounce format.

An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not returned.
