A new release from Clown Shoes Beer is heading to New England next month.
Snow on the Maple Tree is a 12.5 percent ABV imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels that previously held maple syrup. In an email to Tenemu, Bryan Doran, director of sales and development at Clown Shoes, said that the stout was aged in the barrels for approximately six months and that it will be a very limited release consisting of only “about 200 cases” of 22-ounce bottles.
According to Doran, Snow On The Maple Tree is scheduled to be released exclusively in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island in early December.
Last month, Harpoon Brewery announced it had purchased Clown Shoes Beer, although the two companies will remain independent entities.
