According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Clown Shoes Beer is working on releasing Apple Baron, a 10 percent ABV wee heavy ale that has been aged in apple brandy barrels that will be packaged in 16-ounce cans.

This is the second time that Clown Shoes has used the Apple Baron moniker for a beer after it released Josh the Apple Baron last year, a wee heavy-style ale aged in apple brandy barrels. That ale was created to commemorate one of the brewery’s Texas beer sales representatives named Josh Baggett and was sold exclusively in the state of Texas.

An email sent to the brewery for more information was not immediately returned.
