The name of a new IPA from Cigar City Brewing was inspired by the labels that are applied to cigars and the boxes they are packaged in.

According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Fancy Papers a 6.5 percent ABV “hazy” IPA brewed with Idaho 7 and Strata hops that will be packaged in 12-ounce cans.

The combination of hops have been used in an IPA from the Tampa-based brewery before; namely in Gridiron Glory, a 4.2 percent ABV “session IPA” that has been released as a draft-only brewpub exclusive at various times.

An  email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
