For the third year in a row, Cigar City Brewing will be collaborating with the band GWAR.

The newest release from the Tampa City, Fla.-based brewery is Oderus Ale, a beer that is being brewed exclusively for the sixth annual GWAR B-Q taking place in Richmond, Va. on Aug. 14. It is also a tribute to David Murray Brockie, aka Oderus Urangus, the lead singer of GWAR who died last year.

This is the third year in a row that Cigar City has collaborated with the band on an exclusive beer for the GWAR B-Q, following GWAR Beer Impaled Ale (5.5 percent ABV) in 2013 and GWAR Beer Killsner (5.5 percent ABV) in 2014.

According to filings with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the new limited release will be packaged in 16-ounce cans. An email sent to the brewery for additional details was not immediately returned.
