This weekend, Cigar City Brewing is releasing a new collaboration with Bottle Logic Brewing that was brewed to honor John Archibald Wheeler and his contributions to the theoretical realm of physics.

The beer is named Digital Dissolution, a 9 percent ABV British-style imperial stout brewed with canistel, an evergreen tree found southern Mexico and Central America that produces an orange-yellow fruit known as eggfruit. The stout was brewed at Tampa-based Cigar City on March 8.

“Born in Florida, theoretical physicist John Archibald Wheeler proposed the notion of “digital dissolution”, a concept of digital physics inexorably connected to fundamental questions of the nature of time and existence,” reads a post on Bottle Logic’s Instagram page.

According to a post on Cigar City’s Facebook page, Digital Dissolution will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles ($16) and will have a four bottler per person limit when it is released exclusively at Cigar City’s Taproom on April 30.
