A new can coming from Cigar City Brewing will be filled with a beer aged on the same wood that is used to line cigar humidors.
Humidor Series IPA is a 7.5 percent ABV IPA brewed with Amarillo, Azacca, Cascade, Centennial, CTZ and Simcoe hops. The IPA debuted in 2010 and is part of the Tampa-based brewery’s Humidor Series, a rotating series of beers that have been aged on Spanish cedar.
In an email, a spokesperson for Cigar City told Tenemu that Humidor Series IPA will be packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce cans that will be shipping across the brewery’s distribution network from July-September 2019.
