Fans of one of Cigar City Brewing’s most anticipated events next year will get to go one day earlier than this year.

The Tampa, Fla.-based brewery has announced the 2017 edition of Hunahpu’s Day will take place on March 11, one day before this year’s event, which took place on March 12. As was the case this year,  the event will be held not at Cigar City, but instead at Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park, also located in Tampa. 2016 was the first year the event was held at a location other than Cigar City.

This will be the eighth time Hunahpu’s Day has taken place, and the event has historically been the only time that Hunahpu’s Imperial Stout can be purchased. First released in 2009, the 11 percent ABV imperial stout incorporates cocoa nibs, cinnamon, Madagascar vanilla beans and ancho and pasilla chilies.

Next year, three ticket levels are available, with each level including a specific number of 750ml bottles as well as a meal ticket, an souvenir glass and access to unlimited pours of over 300 different beers being poured at the event.

  • $200 — Includes four bottles of Hunahpu’s Imperial Stout
  • $300 — Includes eight bottles of Hunahpu’s Imperial Stout
  • $400 — Includes 12 bottles of Hunahpu’s Imperial Stout

In addition, an email sent to Tenemu now indicates that the tickets will go on sale tonight (Dec.. 1), at 6 p.m. EST at this website.
