Along with a brand new logo, Cigar City Brewing has announced its 2018 Release Calendar, including the debut of a year-round beer and an almost totally reworked Nitro Series.

First, the Tampa, Fla.-based brewery will add Guayabera Citra Pale Ale to its core line available year-round, a 5.5 percent ABV pale ale brewed with Citra hops. The ale will join five other beers in the Cigar City’s year-round lineup:

  • Jai Alai IPA
  • Maduro Brown Ale
  • Invasion Tropical Pale Ale
  • Florida Cracker Belgian-style White Ale
  • Tampa-style Lager
  • Guayabera Citra Pale Ale

Next, there will be a number of changes to Cigar City’s Nitro Series, which is made up exclusively of draft-only releases. Porter will replace El Coco Coconut Flan Ale in the series available from January-February, Minaret English Pub Ale will replace Hornswoggled Red Ale in March and April, Invasion Tropical Pale Ale will replace Vanilla Maduro Brown Ale in May and June, Xenu Honey Cream Ale will replace Horchata Tropical Ale in July and August and Maduro Brown Ale will replace Good Gourd Imperial Pumpkin Ale in September and October, while Cafe Con Leche Sweet Stout will remain in the slot from November through December.

The entire list of Nitro Series includes:

  • Porter — January and February
  • Minaret English Pub Ale — March and April
  • Invasion Pale Ale — May and June
  • Xenu Honey Cream Ale — July and August
  • Maduro Brown Ale — September and October
  • Cafe Con Leche Sweet Stout — November and December

Finally, there are seven different Special Releases, including Summer Beer from June through July and Marshal Zhukov’s Imperial Stout, which is moving from December to November:

  • White Oak Jai Alai IPA — January-March, July-September
  • Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Brown Ale — April-June
  • Cubano Espresso-style Brown Ale — October-December
  • Summer Beer — June-July
  • Oktoberfest — August
  • Good Gourd Imperial Pumpkin Ale — September
  • Marshal Zhukov’s Imperial Stout — November

Cigar City beers are currently available in 12 states including Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah and Virginia as well as the country of Denmark.
