This fall, a popular stout from Central Waters Brewing Co. will be getting a brand new variant.

The beer in question is Vanilla Cherry Stout, a “luscious and dark” stout aged in bourbon barrels for one year and conditioned on Wisconsin cherries and vanilla. As the name suggests, the new stout uses Central Waters’ Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cherry Stout as its base and will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles.

Vanilla Cherry Stout will join the Amherst, Wis.-based brewery’s Brewer’s Reserve Series, which is made up of different styles of beers that have been aged in various types of barrels.

In an email, Anello Mollica, co-owner of Central Waters, told Tenemu that Vanilla Cherry Stout is scheduled to ship to retailers across the brewery’s entire distribution network in September.
